Hi, can I cancelling just one class during a day or change teacher to substitute the regular teacher on a class.
Hi Carina,
To cancel just one class the easiest is to select ‘appointments’ -> ‘manage appointments’ from the main menu. Select the date and time of the class you want to cancel. If there are existing appointments for the class you can move them by clicking on the ‘person’ icon and then selecting ‘move’ for the appointments. After you’ve done that you can make the class unavailable by clicking on the ‘no entry’ icon and reserving as many spaces as there are in the class.
In terms of changing teachers: if this is not a change to the schedule then I would recommend just changing the teacher and informing the class?
Hope that helps!
Thank you, that works for most time, but if for example over Christmas i want to have no regular classes but i want to have some special events. If i´m closed for business how can i add the workshop in the schedule, I have the same problem with my last evening classes before Christmas i want to remove the two latest and have a workshop instead. is that possible?
You can make the class / service / resource or organisation unavailable on any given days? So for your case it sounds like it would make sense to make some services unavailable over Christmas but the workshop available. If you don’t mind I’ll direct you to the knowledge base as there are quite a few options here: https://help.smoothbook.co/section/scheduling/ . Thanks!
That´s great, thanks
Hi James, sorry one more question, can I make a group name for my regular classes to so I can unbook them over Christmas all at one time or do i have to do it for everyone of them? I have like 8 different classes to unbook
Hi Carina,
Hopefully I’m understanding but you if your classes are a service then you can make them unavailable by scheduling the service off? Hopefully that makes sense!
Hi James
Yes I have put my classes as services but I have also named my workshop and ad it to my services, that’s was the only logical place for me to add a name for my workshop. Should I have done it a different way with my workshop name?
I also haven’t found out how to change the weekdays to Swedish, I have tried sv and sw but it did not work, any idea?

Hi Carina,
No that sounds correct: you should name your workshops in the same way as your classes. Sorry if I’m not answering your question!
The dates on the booking calendar should automatically change to your locale when you change the locale in the organisation settings. If this is not happening could you send me a link to your booking calendar and I’ll look into this?
Thanks!
Hi James
I finally found out that Sweden was sv in the setting in dates and time. I was expecting it to be se or sw short for Sweden, sorry for that. I now have the weekdays in Swedish.
Thanks
I’m guessing you know this but you can also change any of the labels on the booking calendar to Swedish if you like as well. Just select ‘settings’ -> ‘labels / translations’ from the main menu.
Good luck!
Yes i have found that, i now have half of it in Swedish
