I have emailed I don’t know how many times now im regards to clients not being charged for packages they have selected or single payments and I am then having to ask them to check their banks or ask them for money. This looks very unprofessional and I am considering leaving smoothbook because no one has helped me and I also use to get quick answers but not now.
The same is happening to me. I sent quite a shirty email last Thursday to support and since then my book g system isn’t working at all.
Is anyone else’s?
Booking system is sort of working, although I am getting reports of the sytem not letting people book. I’ve also had issues with people not being charged and they are becoming more frequent. It looks like Smoothbook disconnects from Stripe every so often - have a look at the Charging for Appointments user page.
I just noticed today that this is happening to me too. So far, I’ve only caught one but I’m sure I don’t get as many clients as many others on here. Whatever is happening, it seems quite widespread. One thing I did find though was that anyone who has previously registered will go through the payment process on my system. Only brand new clients register without having to pay. I was lucky to catch the one today. And fyi, there is no way to reach Smoothbook. I think they may be defunct. The support email bounces back and the number listed on their Facebook page cannot be connected.
Looks like Smoothbook gas been abandoned. No answer to emails, and almost impossible to book. Anyone using the paid model might have to think about it and make their own decisions. I’m looking for alternatives - has anyone on here found a suitable one?
