E-mail templates %i not appearing

Last one for now, I think.

I modified the e-mail template for booking confirmation. Among other things, it says:

Your booking(s) are as follows:
%q
%p
%i

My understanding is that the %i is the “Instructions to your users when they book” that we put when we are creating/modifying the service. The email that the customer receives looks like this (no instructions listed).

What am I doing wrong? Litsu

Hi @Litsu_R,

Not to be silly but have you created any instructions for the service? You can do this by selecting ‘settings’ -> ‘resources and services’ and then clicking on the ‘edit’ link for the service.

No worries…first rule of help desk, ask the obvious questions first like is it plugged in and is it turned on?

I do have instructions for the service…about 8 lines worth.

I tried again. I deleted the %i in the confirmation email template, saved it, added it back in, saved it…and the directions appear in the e-mails now.
