I added info to the Smoothbook registrations form, so that students don’t have to leave the site to complete a registration form on my website.
A new student booked today and all the boxes were marked n/a.
A second student that was already registered booked a class and the email came through with the form.
Is it only a one time completion and why would it come out as n/a as I ticked the required boxes?
Hi Michele,
The required attribute on a field just requires the person to enter anything into the text box: it looks like your student entered the text ‘n/a’ as a reply to get past this. I guess maybe they’re concerned about privacy or something like that.
We had a similar problem to this when people didn’t leave their mobile number and we need it for last minute notifications. We explained this on the form and most are now giving it up. I don’t know if would help to say why you needed the info I,e, for insurance purposes etc.
